An Electoral First for the Disabled

In a first for the Electoral Commission ;disabled people who cannot mark their ballot paper will be able to vote by phone in the New Zealand general election on 20 September.
The commission has developed video resources for voters with learning disabilities and have dedicated information in New Zealand Sign Language.
Its aim is to ensure everyone gets the information they need in the way that best works for them.
My congratulations to the Commission. Within the daily operations with Supercare4u.com we transfer numerous clients with a wide range of Disability issues that can make the effort of going to a polling booth difficult. Seeing this innovative option released into the community bodes well for all voters to express their feelings ..
