The tour is a 2.5 hour trip from Auckland. Come and see the real 'Middle Earth' with a visit to the Hobbiton Movie Set. This is the 'Shire' that featured in the Peter Jackson film, 'The Lord of the Rings' and 'The Hobbit'.
Upon arrival at 'Shires Rest' you start your Hobbiton Movie Set Tour. Wheelchair Mobility is across fields and pathways. The undulating nature of the ground is acceptable for all wheelchairs although the ride could be a bit bumpy!
At the end of the tour we visit the 'Green Dragon Inn' where you will enjoy a complimentary Ale, Cider or Ginger Beer and Lunch at Shire's Restaurant.
